Recently, we completed a full refurbishment of an office’s network infrastructure and telephone cabling system at the Aberystwyth office of Davies Lewis Baker Accountants, transforming an outdated setup into a modern, efficient, and future-proof solution.
The existing system was over 20 years old and struggling to meet the demands of a growing business using the latest software. Common issues included slow internet, poor call quality, limited capacity, and outdated hardware, all affecting productivity.
We carried out a full upgrade of both the data network and phone cabling system. This included installing high-speed Cat6 and Cat7 cabling, new data cabinets, patch panels and managed network equipment, and improved Wi-Fi coverage across all floors.
Due to the office environment and to minimize disruption this work was carried out during the week with the final change over being made over the weekend so as not to cause any downtime for the client.
The project was carefully managed through assessment, installation, configuration, testing, and handover stages, ensuring minimal disruption.
The result was a faster, more reliable network and a flexible communication system, helping the business operate more efficiently and prepare for future growth.
